During the 17th century, red stoneware was made by Ary de Milde of Delft and others in imitation of the wares of I-hsing (see below China: Ming dynasty). Creamware was manufactured at several places at the end of the 18th century. Most Dutch pottery of the period, however, is tin glazed. Italian potters had settled in Antwerp by 1525, and surviving examples of tin-glazed ware from this period are in the Italian style.
